Chapman Eastway offers supportive flexible remote working arrangements which has benefitted me in my circumstances.
For 30 plus years I have been working and advising families and their businesses.
Sure, I help people with the boring but essential stuff that makes them sleep at night. Things like their compliance and banking obligations.
These are important – but it's the things that keep you awake at night, which is where my passion lies. I enjoy working with families who live in the grey - those who don't quite fit into the black-and-white world. The grey can be anything: a new business or sale opportunity, tax controversy, how to equitably distribute family wealth among children, ensuring your estate plan will protect your children, and how to stop the family business from destroying the family.
Whatever the issues, I will work with you to identify solutions that allow you to sleep better at night.
I have more than 20 years of experience in business, and I'm passionate about working with businesses and their owners to help them achieve their strategic objectives and goals.
I enjoy building strong long-term relationships and have advised businesses from the startup phase, family succession, and a business sale. I also have a keen interest in Family Office services, where I have worked with prominent families locally and internationally on matters of governance and structures.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting from the National University of Ireland, Galway. I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
I am honoured to use my specialist tax expertise and experience to journey alongside clients, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations. I love working with multi-generational families, in relation to their tax affairs and more holistically in helping with the protection and succession of family legacy and wealth.
It is a great privilege for me to be a part of a firm with such a rich heritage that has always been dedicated to building strong, long-term relationships. Empathy lies at the centre of how we engage with each other and clients alike, which is something I value very much.
I have been providing tax training to accounting and legal firms for 30 years from first tier firms down to smaller firms. I am passionate about converting complicated tax concepts into plain English for practical use by professionals. I have also been a regular presenter for all the major accounting bodies, CAANZ, CPA, TTI and IPA.
Prior to setting up my tax training business I was a tax consultant with second tier accounting firms. In addition to the “normal” work of tax consulting, part of my role was mentoring staff and running in house tax training sessions.
Over my career within the accounting profession, I have witnessed many changes which have made the profession more inclusive and family friendly.
I am excited to be involved in mentoring the management team at Chapman Eastway and in chairing their Board meetings.
I am a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Aust and NZ, and a Chartered Tax Advisor of The Tax Institute and I hold a Masters in Taxation from the University of Sydney.
For over 20 years I have been working with professional service firms to improve the value they deliver to their clients and their teams, through stronger culture and communications.
I am passionate about bringing brand to life across a whole business, and seeing the significant shift in a firm’s momentum in doing so.
Throughout my career in brand development, I have helped many leading accounting and tax planning firms to clearly understand, and confidently articulate, who they are at heart, what makes them unique, and why they are so valued by the people they work with.
I am delighted to be part of the Chapman Eastway team in this capacity, helping the firm to continue building upon its proud reputation as a truly relationship-focused business. A firm with tremendous talent and energy. People who empower people, with their immense ‘Wealth Within’.
I have been in the Human Resources space for over 20 years, spanning a range of industries, partnering with business leaders in the delivery of their people plan while building a culture of engagement and open communication. I help organisations execute their HR lifecycle and innovating process improvement across HR processes, not just compliance.
My passion for building trusted relationships with all levels within the organisation aligns with Chapman Eastway’s proud history and long-term relationship focus. With my ‘people first’ approach, I’m honoured to have successfully introduced employee engagement initiatives at the firm, including the State of the Firm Address and the monthly employee recognition program, boasting numerous Partner nominations.
With over 11 years of experience in the industry, I work closely with high-net-wealth individuals, family groups, and business owners to navigate the complexities of wealth, tax, and retirement planning. My focus is on providing tailored solutions across compliance, superannuation, tax planning and estate planning, ensuring clients are not only supported but that their financial affairs are well-managed and future-focused.
I am proud to be part of a team that empowers clients to build, preserve, and transition wealth with purpose. I am committed to combining technical expertise with a human-centered approach, listening carefully to each client’s unique needs and aspirations, building long-term relationships based on trust and empathy. Whether guiding succession planning or structuring investments, my goal is to empower clients to make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
I have more than 15 years of experience in working with and advising families and their businesses. I assist families in ensuring that their compliance obligations are up to date, to allow us to better advise them on strategic business decisions and matters relating to their succession planning.
I love working with start-up businesses to ensure that not only are they structured in the most tax efficient manner but also ensuring that their systems and processes are setup correctly from the get-go so they can focus on the more important things like building up the business.
I have a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales, and am a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
I have over 15 years of experience working with families, with a special interest in superannuation and wealth structuring. I chose a career in accounting because I wanted to use my strength to support others, so they can focus on their own goals, passions or life.
I enjoy building long-term relationships with families – not just assisting with tax compliance, but also providing practical advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial and personal goals.
I have a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Finance) and Master of Taxation and Financial Planning from University of New South Wales. I am a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a CA SMSF Specialist.
Over the years I’ve spent working in accounting profession, I’ve come to see it as so much more than numbers and spreadsheets. For me, accounting is a powerful tool. It can support your business, protect your family’s future, help build wealth, and bring clarity to important decisions in life.
What drives me most is working closely with clients, understanding what really matters to them, and being a trusted sounding board through both everyday challenges and long-term goals. I believe strong relationships are just as important as technical knowledge. That’s why I always aim to bring a mix of clear advice, practical support, and genuine care into every client interaction.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of Chapman Eastway. It’s a place with a truly special culture, where people, relationships, and values come first. The leadership here is insightful and forward-thinking, and it’s a privilege to work alongside a team that shares the same commitment to helping our clients thrive.
