Gabriel Passmore

Agribusiness Consultant

Gabriel is an experienced Agribusiness Consultant who excels at agricultural economics, assisting agricultural businesses in understanding their profit and cost drivers, supporting the purchase and sale of agricultural assets, and vertical integration and diversification strategies.

In Gabriel’s previous role, he was engaged in asset management for the Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management team (Paraway Pastoral).

Gabriel has a strong agricultural background, having grown up on a beef and cropping property near Forbes in NSW’s Central West.  He maintains an active and evolving role in the family business, and has developed broad-based networks across the Australian agribusiness landscape.

Gabriel has worked on a number of agricultural properties, ranging from the Gulf of Carpentaria in Queensland, to the Riverina area traversing the NSW/Victorian border. During this time he accumulated a skill set that incorporates both intensive and extensive livestock production, cropping (dryland and irrigated), water management, qualitative and quantitative production analysis, and asset acquisition and disposal.

Gabriel has a B. Economics (Hon) from the University of Sydney. He was honoured with the invitation to present his final year thesis at the Annual Conference of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
