Chapman Eastway offers supportive flexible remote working arrangements which has benefitted me in my circumstances.
For 30 plus years I have been working and advising families and their businesses.
Sure, I help people with the boring but essential stuff that makes them sleep at night. Things like their compliance and banking obligations.
These are important – but it's the things that keep you awake at night, which is where my passion lies. I enjoy working with families who live in the grey - those who don't quite fit into the black-and-white world. The grey can be anything: a new business or sale opportunity, tax controversy, how to equitably distribute family wealth among children, ensuring your estate plan will protect your children, and how to stop the family business from destroying the family.
Whatever the issues, I will work with you to identify solutions that allow you to sleep better at night.
I have more than 20 years of experience in business, and I'm passionate about working with businesses and their owners to help them achieve their strategic objectives and goals.
I enjoy building strong long-term relationships and have advised businesses from the startup phase, family succession, and a business sale. I also have a keen interest in Family Office services, where I have worked with prominent families locally and internationally on matters of governance and structures.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting from the National University of Ireland, Galway. I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
I love working with family groups and privately owned businesses - it's what I'm good at.
My technical skills, combined with my ability to listen and empathize, helps me build strong long-term relationships with my clients. For more than 20 years, I've been assisting clients with a range of issues such as group structuring, business succession, intergenerational wealth transfer, estate planning, superannuation, philanthropy and taxation advisory.
I'm a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Tax Institute of Australia. I'm also a Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) member and a Registered Tax Agent.
I love working with families and their business interests across a range of industries.
With more than 20 years of experience, I provide my clients with accounting, taxation, structuring, succession, estate planning, superannuation and business strategy needs. My guiding principle is to provide my clients with the confidence and comfort to navigate through life's journey by taking a holistic view in distilling the complex into clear, actionable advice.
For over 15 years with Chapman Eastway, I have enjoyed working collaboratively with individuals and their family groups to service their growth.
With an ambition to establish genuine, long term relationships with clients and their families, I aim to provide tailored advice and use my wealth of knowledge to find invaluable solutions.
This can make me front of mind at family discussions, not just for general compliance matters, but also for the problem solving and thought provoking advice.
In addition to helping families who operate and invest in a wide range of businesses and industries, I have a passion for agriculture, succession and philanthropy and the importance they play in modern society.
